The Cannoneers traveled to Syracuse on Saturday to take on the Lazers of Onondaga Community College and came away with an impressive 104-80 victory. Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Shamell Ponds with a 31-point performance. Also chipping in was Kristan Lewis with his best performance of the year with 17 points/ 15 rebound double-double. Owen Coall had his best game of the year with a 15-point effort, followed by Babekir ElShiekh with 14 points/5 rebounds and Muhamadul Ndiaye with 10 points/6 rebounds. It was a great team effort and the Cannoneers look to continue to improve as they host conference foe Cayuga on Monday night.
