Cannoneers Lost Tough One Against the Panthers

The Cannoneers would have to turn around and play at home Sunday afternoon after traveling to Binghamton on Saturday against one of the top teams in the region, Tompkin-Cortland Community College and it was a great contest to watch.  The Cannoneers would struggle out of the gate and find themselves down substantially at halftime, trailing 43-30.  The second half would be a different story as the Cannoneers found a rhythm and stormed back on the Panthers, only to lose by the final score of 70-69.  Owen Coall would have his best game of the season, as he kept the Cannoneers in the game in the first half with timely 3's and finished with 23 points.  Machi Plummer would have a huge game with 20 points/14 rebounds and Shamell Ponds would finish with 13 points and Kristan Lewis with 10 points for the Cannoneers.
